The Piggott School

A Church of England Academy

Early Career Teachers (ECT) Event

On Wednesday 14th September The Piggott School were pleased to host over 50 ECTs (Early Career Teachers) to a welcome event. This event was run in conjunction with the Wokingham Federation and included a number of presentations designed to welcome the local ECTs to the profession. Piggott School staff were responsible for leading the main training of the afternoon - with Mr Paul Smith and Mr Jeremy Crawley leading a keynote speech surrounding 'Behaviour for Learning'. The event was catered by Aspens - who provided a range of outstanding food to keep all attendees going throughout the afternoon. We were thrilled to be able to host this annual event once again - and look forward to continuing our work with local ECTs.
