We are pleased to announce that having reached the top 10 schools in the country for the Design Museum’s Design Ventura competition, our team of 5 year 9 students were taken to the Design Museum on 27th April for the celebration event where they were presented with the first place prize!
In preparation for the coronation our students will be exploring what the coronation is, what it means, and the role of the King. The coronation is an important opportunity to celebrate together but it also offers an opportunity for us to reflect and be grateful for what we have and for us to offer support for our community. As such I would like to signpost a useful website that raises awareness of volunteering – The Big Help Out. The objective of the Big Help Out is to inspire people to make a difference and to bring communities together through celebration and community spirit. We would love our students and their families to get involved as we continue to promote our vision of ‘Go and Do Likewise.’

Well done to the School Council for organising the non-uniform day and two bake sales! Thank you so much to everyone for their generosity to raise money for DEC Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal. In total we raised an amazing £1865.84. This is a superb effort, especially with the cost of living crisis. This money will make such a difference to those in need of vital supplies.
I was so impressed with the superb quality of the cakes that came in, so thank you again. I’d also like to thank the school council members for their brilliant help in selling and promoting the baked goods. We had so many donations in that we decided to run the bake sale over 2 days.
