Press Release: A Level & Level 3 Vocational Results – The Piggott School
The Piggott School is proud to announce another exceptional set of A Level and Level 3 Vocational results. The students, and staff, have all worked extremely hard and this is reflected in the outstanding grades awarded.
With over 240 students entered, our A Level pass rate was 99%.
12% of our results were graded at A*. 37% of our results were graded at A*-A. 68 % of our results were graded at A*-B, and 87% graded A*-C.
The average point score per A level entry was 40 points, making the average grade a B.
Our Vocational Level 3 pass rate for Applied General qualifications was 100%, with Distinction* to Merit being 86%. 100% of students entered for a Technical qualification achieved a merit or higher.
Josie W achieved 3 A*s, and she is excited to embark on a journey of English Language and English Literature at Oxford University. Max M achieved exceptional results, and he will be studying Economics and Finance at Bristol. We wish them well in their future studies.
Following a robust, rigorous and competitive process, Eloise H has secured a degree apprenticeship at Deloitte. We are extremely proud of her achievements.
The results achieved by our students this year will open doors and opportunities for an exciting future for many. We are extremely proud of the achievements of students and staff, reflecting the unrelenting commitment and dedication in our school community.
I hope that our students will celebrate their success, finding happiness and fulfilment in whatever the future holds for them. My thanks to all our teaching and support staff for their continued dedication and professionalism.
