COLLECTING YOUR CERTIFICATES
CERTIFICATES FROM SUMMER 2026 Examinations
Certificates cannot be posted and must be collected in person. A signature will be required on collection.
If you are moving on to a new destination, your examination certificates will be available to collect from Reception on a drop-in basis between 11.00am and 2.00pm, from Monday 7 December 2026 until Monday 8 February 2027 (before the Spring half-term break). Please bring a valid form of photo identification to verify your identity.
After the half-term break, certificates will be stored securely until 16 July 2027. During this period, collections must be arranged in advance by contacting Reception.
It is important that you collect and keep your certificates in a safe place, as they may be required for future education, training, or employment. Replacement certificates can be expensive and time-consuming to obtain. Please note that The Piggott School is not required to retain certificates beyond one year. Any certificates that remain unclaimed after this period may be destroyed or returned to the relevant awarding body. Should this happen, you would need to apply directly to the awarding body for a replacement, which may incur a significant charge.
Collection by a nominated person
Certificates may be collected on your behalf by a nominated person. The candidate must provide written authorisation, which should be presented to Reception at the time of collection. The nominated person must also provide proof of their identity.
