The Henley Literary Festival Schools Programme continues to be a cornerstone of our Autumn Term curriculum. The visit serves as a primary "hook" for our literacy curriculum, moving beyond the classroom to provide students with a tangible connection to the world of publishing, illustration, and professional storytelling.

The highlight of the trip for our younger learners was a collaborative session with Zanna Davidson, the acclaimed creator of the Izzy the Inventor and Billy and the Mini Monster series. The session was designed to bring the story to life through, interactive Storytelling and real science experiments!

For our older children, the festival featured the high-energy MC Grammar. Known for his "Grammar Lives" approach, his session served as a fantastic bridge for our students to see how English and oracy can mix with music and performance.
