At Charvil, we host a Careers Fair to give our students a real head start in thinking about their futures. We do this to open their eyes to the huge variety of jobs out there and show them how the things they learn in class actually apply to the real world. It is a brilliant chance for the kids to meet professionals from all sorts of industries and see just how many paths are open to them.

This year we had a fantastic mix of guests, including:

• Film Director and Advertising & Marketing experts for the creative minds.

• AA Mechanic and Construction Workers to show the skills behind building and fixing things.

• Financial Advisor to talk about the world of business and money.

• Chocolate Maker and Wedding Planner to show how hobbies and passions can turn into amazing careers!

The fair is also a key way for our children to improve their speaking and listening skills. To get the most out of the experience, children spend time preparing their own questions beforehand. This gives them the confidence to approach our visitors and lead meaningful conversations.

We are proud of how they use this opportunity to practice communicating clearly and listening to professional advice—essential skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom!
