In honour of The Duke of Edinburgh
Published 19/04/21Building from The Duke of Edinburgh’s vision in 1956, the DofE offers millions of young people the chance to discover they can do anything, achieve anything and overcome anything life throws their way, whatever their ability, interest or background. Because when you prove to yourself that you’re ready for anything, nothing can hold you back.
As the founder of the DofE, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh has helped transform how millions of young people see themselves and see the world around them. Launched in 1956, the DofE offers young people the chance to take on their own challenges, follow their own passions, discover new skills and make a difference in their community.
If your child has participated in the DofE, we would like to find out how the DofE positively impacted their life. To contribute please email a DofE photo and story to hollowaya@piggottschool.org
If you are interested in participating in the DofE please email Miss Percival at percivalr@piggottschool.org or visit http://www.piggottschool.org/page/?title=Duke+of+Edinburgh&pid=270 for more information.
