A special thank you to the Prime Minister who made time within her demanding schedule to attend, read a bible passage, and speak with pupils, staff and visitors.

My thanks also to the many members of the Royal British Legion who took assemblies during the week and contributed to such a moving service. The link that we have grows stronger each year and long may it continue. Particular thanks goes to Tony Elliot for his generous donation of the Tower Poppy which is proudly on display next to our Roll of Honour. Thank you Tony for your years of support for The Piggott School.

My thanks also to all the staff and students who worked so hard to make this Service so special; in particular Ms Sherwood, Ms Taylor, Mrs Alexander and Mr Griffith.
