Wider Opportunites for Pupils
We offer a wide range of opportunities for all pupils at The Piggott School, before, during and after school. For instance, there are clubs, societies, sports practices and fixtures, Music and Drama performances and membership of the Schools Library.
On behalf of their Tutor Groups, pupils are encouraged to:
- be members of the school's 'eco-group',
- be International Reps,
- mentor younger pupils,
- become Prefects,
- contribute to the Anti-Bullying Campaign and
- help to raise funds for Charities.
We believe that there is no limit to what our pupils can do when they put their mind to it - there is always an adult who is willing to support and work alongside them.

Wider Opportunities for Staff
Teachers at the Piggott are encouraged to take part in visits to other schools and other countries to enable them to develop their subject knowledge and experiences:

Cultural visit to our partner school in Luzhou, China |

Geography teachers visit Iceland, along with 6th form students |

Language teachers have the opportunity to update their language skills in France, Spain and Germany. |
