Sports Partnerships & Fixtures
We offer a wide range of extra-curricular sport, including:
- Rugby
- Soccer
- Cricket
- Athletics
- Cross Country
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Netball
- Tennis
- Gymnastics
- Creative Dance.
Clubs operate in all these activities and all ability levels are welcome to attend. Inter School matches and competitions take place weekly and large numbers of pupils are involved.
The Piggott School is part of the Wokingham Schools Sports Partnership. (There are 8 School Sport Partnerships in Berkshire).
Wokingham Schools Sports Partnership
The Wokingham School Sports Partnership was established in September 2005.
The purpose of the partnership is for groups of schools to work together to develop PE and sport opportunities for all young people.
A typical partnership consists of:
- A partnership development manager (PDM) who is based at Bulmershe Sports College.
- School Sports Co-coordinators (SSCos) who work in each secondary school.
- Primary and special school link teachers (PLTs) from each primary school.
