An open evening is held each year in the Autumn Term.
The open evening for 2010 entry was held on Wednesday 4th November 2009.

On Wednesday 21 April the school 1st XI Football Team beat Bracknell and Wokingham College 4-0 with goals from Chris Wateridge, Courtney Thompson Springer, Seve Mayberry and Callum Alliston to become East Berkshire Champions. Congratulations to all involved.
Royal Society of Chemistry CertificatesCongratulations to David Evans and Tom Smith-Uchotski (Year 13) who completed the Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad.
David has been awarded a Bronze certificate and Tom a Commended certificate. Tom was 0.5 of a mark away from a Bronze certificate.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 1st XV Rugby Team who beat Waingels College 40-0 to become Berkshire Rugby Champions 2010 on 10th March.
Two Sixth Form students have received offers from either Oxford or Cambridge Universities - Asha Hartland to study Classics at Brasenose College, Oxford and Sam Wheldon-Bayes to study Mathematics at Downing College, Cambridge. Congratulations to both students.
Piggott Berkshire Debating Champions 2009The Piggott School became debating champions in the first two rounds of the Institute for Ideas Debating Matters competition, on Monday 24th Nov 2009.
Topics debated included:
The Piggott won the 1st round against St Bartholomew's.
The Holt won the 2nd round against Windsor Girls.
The Piggott won the final round against The Holt (2008 champions), making us 2009 Berkshire champions. We also took home the Audience Award for Best Questioning.
