Discipline and Rules

Sixth form students are not required to wear formal uniform, but they are expected to dress in a reasonable and smart fashion.

The ethos of the sixth form stresses the development of self discipline, and all students are expected to behave in a polite and courteous manner to each other and to staff. Where someone in clearly failing to behave in an acceptable way a formal warning will be given. If the warning is not heeded, parents will be informed. Parents will then be invited to school to discuss the situation, and, as a last resort, alternative opportunities outside The Piggott School will need to be taken.
